After 30 yrs of dizziness/vertigo treatments by various doctors, tests, injections, other types of PT, not working, I FINALLY was sent to Diversified. The courteous, friendly receptionist, Samantha, is very engaging, and sets you up and
gives you a lists of each visit , dates & times for a period designated after first assessment. All the gals at the desk are friendly and you can see it’s a good work environment.
The quietness of the “gym” was the first plus! Most PT’s places have loud music, to keep you moving! This place is different. They turn off ceiling lights if you are bothered by artificial lighting. The secret to their success is they ONLY treat issues of balance due to vertigo symptoms and hearing loss/tinnitus.
I was treated by a two member team: the PT DR who assessed me day one, and made a plan, and then alternated with a PTA, who was as knowledgeable as her counter part.
In 4 weeks with 2 visits per week at 30 min each, I had improved to the point of discharge! Largely due to the listening ears of these women, Dr Ashley Krol PT and Erin Becker PTA.
They are cordial, but business like, they stick to the routine, adding or taking away things that are too hard, or leave you too sore. There is NO pushing you or judgement. I would not hesitate to go back, should I experience any issue of imbalance.
My only regret is these women don’t treat other areas, as I would be a “frequent flyer”. This location, one of three, on Wehrle Dr in Williamsville, NY opened April 2024 and they take care of hearing aides, and have staff for tinnitus sufferers.
I never saw more than 3 in the gym at a time. I thank Stacy PA at Buffalo Spine and Sports for evaluating me thru xrays, MRI’s and then sending me to Diversified. It was a GOOD experience.
